Side charging handle

Recommended Posts

Like I said before, not likely to cost much more than that silly extended charging handle... AND it would do exactly what you want.

Mill a groove down the side. Run a router down the inside of the upper to make a shouldered rut, similar to the MLOK design. Then create a handle, with a sled, that'll run that groove (probably a two piece design). Modify the carrier to accept the handle similar to the previous pics (Adams Arms haso the printable instructions on their site)... done

Trying to find a drop in side charger that will work with my S&W  M&P10 (AR10 but might use some S&W proprietary parts)  Hard Charger says they are working on a prototype for the AR10 now.  Any info would be great.  This company that is being discussed said their product won't work on the M&P10

Thanks.   Bill

And that right there is why we keep stressing to people that the AR-10 is only made by Armalite and your S&W M&P10 (or DPMS or whatever other manufcturer) is NOT an AR-10!
