QD Sling attachments

Recommended Posts

I picked these up today at the Fun Dealer , these are kinda cool , they only pivot in place about 15 Degree's . You can push the release button & pivot them where you want them . All new to me , I have to learn how to set these up , I have a couple of HG's that can use them in different attachment points .

Those are the ones I always pick up - tough as hell so far, and cheaper than anything else out there, of quality.

The "limited rotation" is just that - that's what it's called. It's in the socket or QD cup, no matter what sling swivel brand you buy.  Not all QD attachments points are limited rotation, through, so watch for that when you buy attachment points (not the swivels).

Here's a great example of what I'm talking about:

Here's one that's not rotation-limited - just a ring on the inside of the mount, and the swivel can spin all the way around.

Thats the ALG HG on my 25-45 Sharps , no other QD on the HG except for the opposite side , of course . The other HG has them at the forward point , as the photo shows & at the back , as with the ALG HG . I just have to see where I like the sling set up , to carry & shoot , I have a all kinds of Slings to try out .
