You can push the release button & pivot them where you want them . All new to me , I have to learn how to set these up , I have a couple of HG's that can use them in different attachment points . 98Z5V Posted August 2, 2017 Report Share Posted August 2, 2017 Those are the ones I always pick up - tough as hell so far, and cheaper than anything else out there, of quality. The "limited rotation" is just that - that's what it's called. It's in the socket or QD cup, no matter what sling swivel brand you buy. Not all QD attachments points are limited rotation, through, so watch for that when you buy attachment points (not the swivels). Here's a great example of what I'm talking about: Here's one that's not rotation-limited - just a ring on the inside of the mount, and the swivel can spin all the way around. The other HG has them at the forward point , as the photo shows & at the back , as with the ALG HG .
