I had no experience with "FAT" rifle handguards, but I like the fat carbine hanguards more than the skinny M4 style so I thought it would be fine. Turns out they are pretty ugly. They also made the A2 grip look too small so I threw a magpul on there. FH is also temp. I have my spare manimal on it for now until I pick up a birdcage from my friend. mrmackc Posted September 23, 2018 Report Share Posted September 23, 2018 Fully charged Batteries on a 36 volt golf cart with 4gauge connector wires will do a creditable D.C. welding job with 1/8 inch rods or coat hanger wire with heavy jumper cables or standard welding cables. I used this rig repairing windmill towers, as a young man. Just don't use so much juice that the golf cart won't get you back to the barn.
