rickoshay Report post Posted September 26, 2020 Hi, I'm trying to find out which model LR 308/AR10 this is. It has a 22" fluted barrel with free floating hand guard and muzzle break. It also has a fixed stock A1 style stock. Any help would be appreciated.
shooterrex Report post Posted September 26, 2020 A picture and a description on what is printed on the receiver would help.
rickoshay Report post Posted September 26, 2020 I was told its a 22" barrel. I thought DPMS only made an 18" fluted barrel?
edgecrusher Report post Posted September 26, 2020 That is an older model that probably is long out of production.
rickoshay Report post Posted September 26, 2020 Yeah, thank you. The reciever looks like a Gen1. Just thought someone might know what this model was called.
edgecrusher Report post Posted September 26, 2020 I’m guessing 2008-2010 production date. Hard to tell definitively since Remington deleted all the old info
shooterrex Report post Posted September 26, 2020 SASS is what they called it IIRC.
DNP Report post Posted September 26, 2020 (edited) SASS was an 18” barrel and free floated. This looks like a combination of parts from various setups. My google-fu has not found a match Edited September 26, 2020 by DNP
DNP Report post Posted September 26, 2020 Shouldn’t have said free floated. The rail covered the gas block
Matt.Cross Report post Posted September 26, 2020 That model didn't have a designation aside from the "LR-308" nomenclature. That model (specifically that barrel length configuration) was available in at least three different handguard configurations, two different gas blocks, fluted and non-fluted barrels, and about a half dozen separate muzzle devices, all available by order from DPMS's website back in the day. Ravenworks Report post Posted September 26, 2020 How about having a little more respect for our flag, it's not a table cloth.

It’s against the US code to display it like that. I know no disrespect intended but it is a symbol of a living country so it should be treated as a living thing. rickoshay Report post Posted September 26, 2020 Maybe next time he should stomp on it and burn it? He did it just as a display for his photo I'm guessing.

A mutual friend sent me this guys photos of his rifle. I was just trying to see if anyone had any info on this rifle is all. I see post posts all the time and someone mentions clip instead of magazine and forum blows up lol. I'm sure this guy wasn't trying to disrespect our flag. He simply posted his rifle on the flag. I don't get offended by that, but I know some people loose their minds over it and that's fine. I loose my mind when I see liberals burning our flag and stomping on it etc. My flag Flys on my porch at my home and no I don't have a dedicated light on it at night, but it still Flys 24/7 and I'm the only one who flys an American flag. With that being said I'm not mad and thanks for your response.

In my opinion if you fly The American flag at night without it being lighted I think you are too damn lazy to take it down at the proper time. Semper Fi!
