fore grip question

Recommended Posts

Well I mentioned this with my pic I posted, but no feedback on that part yet .. My question is I tried a grip on my rail behind my bipod and the grip is about 1/16 of a inch to long to fit it hits the swivel screw on my pod and its as far up as it can go. I believe the grip was made by tapco, are all grips pretty much the same lenght on the rail end or are some shorter? That way I could move it back a Tad. If so can you give me a manufacturer name thanks

Can't really help, I use the magpul afg, and it uses up lots of space, just wanted you to know we do pay attention but can't always help. Check out larue to see if they specify, but be warned, quality is expensive. Also check out Troy

I tried taking some off of it last night but its all just to jammed up in there. I think I will just have to take the Bi pod off and get a nice fore grip to use when i hunt with the rifle.. here is a pic.. I think you can tell from this pic not much space.. If i need to I can take a close up..

Why not use one of the bipod fore grips.

What you have is a carbine hand guard & stuff gets a little tight in there with one , when you start adding it all at the "6" O'Clock position

You could also go with a longer hand guard also , a mid hand guard will give you the extra room .Of course you know that & all this is going to cost you some $$ ,no matter which way ya go .
