And a couple Jard triggers.  And a Spike's NiB.  And some stainless thing.  Several ALGs (Geissele, anyway, but...).  There's a BUNCH of different triggers in this house.  <thumbsup>

Buuuuull sheeeeeit!  She has the SSA-E...  and that's IT!  She wants the S3G, and she can buy it herself!

Uh oh... you're going to get the "what is mine is mine and what is yours is mine" speech form her soon. My wife has the same name (Dawn) and I'm too familiar with how these models operate.

Ah, $hit, she saw this thread.  She was laughing...  but I think she'll be in here, trying to "assert some ownership" on some of my $hit...  <dontknow>

  • 4 months later...

I have an SSA on my Colt 6920, an SSA-E on my "Franken-AR" that I designate as my fun/all-around/varmint AR, and an SD-E on my LR-308.

The SSA is a good choice for a defensive rifle.

The SSA-E is a great marksman's/hunter's trigger, light and crisp enough to satisfy just about everyone I would think.

The SD-E is a flat trigger and I have to say, it is a joy to shoot with.  The ability to squeeze the trigger way at the bottom makes it feel very light.  So it's one to operate with a feather touch; good for fine-tuning disciplined trigger control.

Your mileage may vary.  But I doubt it since Geissele's triggers seem very consistent from all reports I've heard and read.
