CMMG 6.5 Creedmore Bbl on DB-10

Hello,

 I have a Diamondback DB-10 w/16" .308 barrel w/ mid-length gas. I ws considering changing the caliber to 6.5 Creedmoor. I have an opportunity to get a CMMG 20" ^.5 Creedmoor w/  rifle length w/ rifle length gas set up. Will this mate up with the Diamondback upper? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Should work the barrels themselves are interchangeable but headspace should still be checked after. No 100%s.
