jbags82
Right out of the blocks I wanted to say this is my first Post ever although I have been reading for weeks now. This is also my first 308 build! This should be interesting! To start with... I have a MK3 CMMG lower that was given to me by a friend. Now I am researching an LPK. I have read that the older style CMMG lowers(which is what I have) have issues with pin alignment. I have been eyeing the Armalite two stage LPK. Has anyone tried this combination? or even the one stage?
Grunt Medic TXARNG
Why not a CMMG LPK? I'm running the CMMG with their 2 stage trigger in my Fulton build, and am happy with it.http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/item/308-Lower-Parts-Kit-with-2-Stage-Trigger-1722
jbags82
I had heard the CMMG LPK had a slight roughness to its pull. In the past I have only shot RRA and Stag. All AR15's. So I can't verify this. have you had any issues with your CMMG lpk?
Grunt Medic TXARNG
I can't speak for the standard CMMG trigger - I don't much care for standards, which is why I paid for the upgraded trigger I posted about. I am well satisfied with it, so far.
jbags82
UPDATE: Bought the CMMG 2 stage LPK. So far I'm not very happy. The LPK seems great with good quality but CMMG sent it incomplete. It took a few weeks to get which is understandable but they sent it without the bolt catch parts, and sent a normal selector instead of the requested ambi, on the plus side they sent me +1 part for the trigger grouping.
