For anyone who had been reading the LR-308 AP4 front sight removal thread I had on the "Building a .308AR" section, you'd know that I was waiting for the Troy MRF-308 battle rail for the DPMS low profile upper to come off of back-order.  Over the weekend, I managed to find one on Amazon.  <thumbsup> Wasn't the best description as it doesn't even mention LR-308 in the title, only reads "Troy Industries DPMS LP BattleRail." My guess is that this is the only reason they still actually had a couple of these in stock.  From doing some part number cross-referencing, I determined that it was in fact the one I'd been looking for and it's a good thing too.  I called Troy and know they're talking early October before any more of these get sent out.

Reason I made a whole new thread on here though, was because they supposedly have one more in stock.  I wanted to let y'all know in case any one else has been waiting on one of these.  I haven't cancelled my back-order with Midway USA yet just because I want to verify that what they send will be what I ordered, but all signs point to me being able to finally put my poor LR-308 back together.  Poor girl has been disassembled for almost two months now waiting on this thing.  Between waiting on the part to arrive and getting the time to do the deed, it should be complete as of the early part of next week.  Can't wait, but again, trying to get the word out that there is one more left for any one like me who doesn't feel like waiting until October.
