So I ordered a few parts about a month ago for an incoming ma-ten, and only recently did I realize the Vltor buffer tube is actually the AR10 version instead of the AR15 version. The problem is that I also ordered Slash's CAR10 buffer made for AR-15 tubes. Looking over the order form I found out it was my fault and not a packing error. DERP <laughs> Do you guys think this could cause any problems? Since the CAR10 buffer recommends a lighter spring (29 coils?), could I just use the original 36 coil spring to negate the different? The Vltor tube is only about 3 quarters of an inch longer than the AR-15 tube. Same dimensions, one is just longer. I realize this could cause FTF/Jams, but id rather not spend any more money unless necessary. <dontknow>
