Does anyone know what is the significance of a cryogenically treated rifle barrel? I am looking at Rock River LAR 308 They advertise their barrels as cryogenically treated.

Does anyone know whether the 20" 308 competion SS barrel from CMMG is a good choice I have no experence with this mfg. It is fitted to a Dpms reciever I am thinking of purchasing. Need input, thanks.
