I'm sorry I should have put more detail. The scope I'm looking at is the 3-9X40mm T2

I was told that the Leupold Mark AR would be a good choice of a scope out to 300 yards. Almost of my shooting is less than 150 yards and most at 100 yards or less. I was also told that for $60 bucks I could order a BDC directly from Leupold. I will be mainly hunting, shooting coke cans and rocks. This will be on a DPMS Sportical with a 16-inch barrel. The cost of the setup right at $400 with tax. Is there a better option at this price?
