Well from what I can tell it looks to be a repackage DPMS LR308. There are some differences in there package setups instead of building one from scratch. The Bushmaster has just about everything I'm wanting from the start and beginning my AR transformation, lol. I hope to get ideas on future upgrades from the forums... Hi to everyone.

Other than my M16 in the military 20 years ago, have no other AR experience and looking for some advice and or opinions on an AR in .308. Purpose is general fun rifle to use for hunting deer/hog to target shooting at the range for fun. For the hunting side I really want a compact rifle for a change and saw the Bushmaster LR308 ocr. Figured if i really wanted to get long range target shooting I could just get a 24"barrel. Anyways... all advice would greatly appreciated. Thanks.
