Actually, the tube was from Ace on an ARFX-E kit. My Magpul UBR tube fit perfectly in the IRA!

Actually, Oliver at IRA went above and beyond. He fit the LPK to the lower, discovered that my extension tube was out of spec, and he refinished my upper and lower for an optimal match! I am so happy and have finished my build. Here piggies!!!

Great news! IRA is going to fit and assemble the LPK and the upper to the lower and the receiver extension tube for me. Looking forward to this build again!

Also emailed Iron Ridge to see what they could do.

Good thoughts. I went over everything with my Dremel with the felt polishers and jeweler's rogue to no avail, but I'll try some more tomorrow!

Yes, and it fits fine. The bolt catch itself is too tight in the notch machined out for it.

It is a beautiful piece of work, but the LPK just won't fit! I may try taking it to my local gunsmith, but I hate to do so, throwing good money after bad. Then again, how can I in good conscience sell it, knowing it does not work? :-O

Hello all! Having some significant difficulties with my lower build. Picked up a DPMS LPK from Brownell's and I am having significant difficulties fitting parts in. The receiver extension tube won't thread in, even with moly grease. The bolt catch fits so tightly that it won't tilt, the takedown pins, well lets not even go there! Anyone else have so much trouble?
