  2. Hello again guys. A friend of mine is offering me a 18" LaRue upper that has only been shot 300 times. He informed me that it was 1195 new. But he is selling it to me for 500. SO!? I need to buy a good lower to accomodate it, but also for a good price. Any suggestions? Remember I don't have a TON of money so anything under 300 dollars would be nice. I looked at some Del-Tons and others but don't really know alot about them. Thanks.
  3. Is there a way to see if my crown on my gun is messed up? Or of the riflings are ok?
  4. So if it has just little particles it should be fine? And also. My friend said not to clean it from the front of the gun will this mess up the crown?
  5. yes. I forget if its the brass brush that it came with or the one the kit came with but yes... Here's what i do. Take the brush spray the hoppes bore cleaner on the brush then go down and all the way back like 5-10 times...then get the swabs, swab it back and forth till i see no more black on the pads. <dontknow>
  6. Hello again, my DPMS LR-308 classic is having some issues.... Lately after a day or 2 of cleaning it dirt or grime or something pops up back in my barrel. I'm not sure why it could be doing this. Does this mean my gun is ruined? because i didn't follow the reccomended break in period perfectly? I do clean it after everytime I go shooting with the gun. I just need some insight guys to why dirt or bullet grime could still be showing up.. Thanks. and PS. Could this adhere the accuracy of the rifle? :'( :'( :'(
  7. hmmm.. thats a lot of check-in I gotta do...lol ill try it all out
  8. I'll try and get a better pic later.
  9. Ok like if u loom through the sights from from to back the pistol grip and the back of the receiver look crooked. Cuz i have to slightky turn the gun to look straight down the sights. It's hard to capture what I'm talking about... maybe the front sight is the problem. I shot yesterday no problem with accuracy I hit a basketball and sunny d jug at 50 yards fairly easy
  10. Here it is..cant tell much so hope it helps. Something just seems off to me
  11. Righto! As soon as I get home... didn't have much time last night when I posted this.
  12. hey again guys! I have an Romanian Ak 47. it has a mako front rail kit and grip i installed my self ( <thumbsup>). about 4 days ago i looked straight down it. and then realized that from looking through the front sights the grip by the trigger and the back of the receiver are slightly crooked from the rest of the gun. My brother informed that the gun was like this from the day i bought it.. but IDK. I was wondering if any of you had any idea why it might do this? i have "bump" fired the gun multiple times. will this harm it? thanks :)
