Planes-N-Guns

Since my last post I have added Magpul MOE black handguards and a EOtech 512 to the Bushmaster. No problems what-so-ever. The EOtech is very natural to use. I have some more goodies coming that I will report on when installed and tested.

CTR or ACS stock and MOE mid-length hand guards is what I had in mind. Lets say MOE grip and trigger guard also just to get that out of the way. Thanks.

Hello, I am new to the site and owning a AR based .308. I just got a Bushmaster ORC and like it so far. Picked up some 20rd Magpul mags and they work great (as did the supplied factory magazine). The stock and handguards feel cheap so I want to go with Magpul replacements, (I wouldnt be in this position if I didnt have a Magpul edition DoubleStar in 5.56!). My question is do I need to be aware of anything regarding stocks, handguards, grips, etc.? On the Magpul site, I havent seen much seperating the 5.56 vs 7.62 except for mags. Compatability is my concern. Thanks and sorry if this has been covered before.

If I`m not mistaken, Alexander Arms has a side charge upper in their catalog. May have been for 5.56 or 6.8 though.
