Have read nothing but good stuff about "DAG" ammo, it's NATO so Govt contract and decent quality. Besides Sportsmans there are others selling this stuff, and cheaper. The sealed "battle packs" from Dans Sporting goods or even MidwayUSA are something to look into. ClassicArms.US is good to deal with and is selling Radway (British) 308 in cans, copper jacket vs the nickel-copper jacket over mild/soft steel like the DAG (German) ammo. The NI-Cu jacket is supposed to be as soft and wear as easily as copper...that's what I've read. Have read where guys have put 1000 rnds through a barrel of DAG and think it's just fine...I have not purchased any DAG surplus. Hope this helps, happy shooting!
