Paying $300 for a quad rail and then buying special tools to be able to change it seems crazy to me. Has anyone had DPMS install the one they sell (About $189??)? Who makes it? I’m wondering how much additional they would charge if I just send them my 308 AP4 upper and had them change it. I’m thinking I could sell my rifle and buy a new one with the rail for less than this project will cost. (If I could find a new one with the quad of course.)

No, I’m not sure. I sent an email to find out. I guess maybe that price is too good for a .308.

I have a DPMS .308 LR-308 AP4. It has the carbine length free float tube forearm that was factory standard. I am interested in a 4 rail system. Yankee Hill has some carbine length for around $130. Can anyone that has these offer any opinions on them? Anyone know what YHM charges for installation?
