I'm shooting my Ap4 for the first time. What do I need to make sure I oil and what is the best lubricant? Rem Oil, high temp bearing grease?

I'm wanting to buy a magpul ACS stock. I have a 308 AP4 with a 6 position collapsable stock and I'm confused on whether I need to buy the commercial or mil spec diameter? I'm preety sure my research points to the commercial but I don't really know. I know, I know everyone says go with troy but lets be honest.....I don't have a million dollars laying around. Start naming things that you have heard or seen go wrong with the magpul flip up sights! Is it possible for them to melt if they are on a free float barrel?

Does nobody like the Free Float quad rails that DPMS makes themselves? I have a A3 Upper so this one should work...but no one ever recommends it? http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=1844. I wonder how long it is?

If my barrel is stamped 7.62x51, does that mean I can still shoot 308 rounds through it? Aren't 7.62x51 and 308 the same thing?

Where did you all get a low profile gas block for a free float quad rail that is compatible with a 308? My barrel diameter is .750 but I heard that the gas systems for a Ar-15 and Ar-10 are different?

Now I bought a LR 308-AP4 but I never got sights with it? I am looking at the EOTech holographic sights but do I need collapsable sights too, such as magpul? or is the Holographic enough? I see lots of gun pictures that have both.
