  1. Hello, been a lurker here for awhile. Been digging through the forum and I can't quite come up with what I need. I am the proud owner of a heavy s.o.b of an LR-308 Classic. I just ordered a Rainier 16" barrel, and I'm going to go with a free float tube, BUIS, and all that fancy stuff, but I'm wondering if I'll have to get a new barrel extension to go with the new barrel. I'm basically wanting to build something lighter and shorter, because I've noticed that even packing that pig around on a four wheeler, it get's heavy and cumbersome. Am I going down the right track so far?
  2. What the difference in height? Is the AR-10 higher, because my LR doesn't look all that high.
  3. Yes the LR-308C has A2 handguards, and according to Midwest their drop in handguards won't work on a Dpms. I've seen some modular rail sections, that I thought might mount on the A2 handguards, does anybody know anything about those? Mainly if they're worth messing with, and if they'd actually mount up?
  4. Thanks. Most of those are for an AR-15 though.
  5. I have an LR-308C that I'd really like to have a railed handguard on. Is there any solutions other than a free float tube?
