  1. Looks like JP's site indicates that using the other springs on a normal trigger won't help much. I'll leave the yellow trigger spring in; I've got 3 different hammer springs in my parts bin that I can try to see if they give me a decent pull & still work. I'll post the results after my next range trip. Thanks in advance!
  2. Guys - I just installed a Spike's nickle boron battle trigger & 3.5 lbs yellow JP springs in my BM ORC 308. It's a huge improvemnet over stock (8 lbs). I read before that the yellow springs might cause light primer strike issues with steel case. Anyway, I was in fact getting light primer strikes - Hornady steel match (Wolf cases) went off 4 out of 5 times & Monarch steel case (Barnaul) were 2 for 5. My question is; can I leave the lighter weight yellow trigger spring & just change the hammer spring to the Spikes. Will that make a diffence or is it recommended? Should I just put the springs in that came with the Spikes? I wasn't expecting the Spike's to be a match trigger; only that it would be smoother than stock - which is what it is.
  3. It's commercial diameter. My milspec MOE wouldn't fit the tube.
  4. Just sold a couple of my 5.56's to fund a new Bushmaster ORC. I figured I would try it out then make future plans of an ACS stock, Troy TRX extream forearm , PWS FSC30 Brake & an FDE Duracoat job. Hopefully I've done my home work & should be able to get this put together for around $ 1500 - 1600. Already got a few pieces of decent glass to try out.
