No, you did not scare me off. I have been working A LOT (which is what is funding this build). I have also been doing some research. Thanks for letting gme know on the trigger pin size. I have found the correct one for my build. I also have decided to use a different handguard. I really like the look of the KAC M110 SASS, so I am considering the KAC URX or something similar, open to suggestion here. Also, the barrel is a 1:10 twist. Sorry for the typo.

I am seriously considering purchasing a DPMS Panther LR-308 that is for sale locally. I plan to use it as my competition long-range sniper system. I believe this rifle to be one of the best quality systems available. I plan to upgrade the rifle to be comparable (as far as the basic look and silhouette) of Knight's Armament Company's M110 SASS. I really, really like the looks and capabilities of RRA's LAR-8 Advanced Half Quad ( http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fus...category_id=440 ), but I don't know if it will be compatible with the DPMS LR-308. Anyone know if it will work or if there is one similar to it?
