Ok, I finally bought my new baby but now I am on a serious budget. I have been looking at optics and found a few I like: Vortex StrikeFire Red Dot, Bushnell Trophy 1x32 MP Red Dot Sight, and the Firefield 1.5 - 5x32 mm Green Laser Rifle Scope. Any suggestions on these or any other around $200?
I don't know much at all about them. Found a .308 MK-3 18" fluted barrel, MagPul PRS stock, WASP coated chamber and bore(need info on that as well), no forward assist for $1400. Can anyone tell me about their reliability, accuracy, or anything else?
That's great Edge, because I used up all my major voca,,,vocabuuu,,,, ummmm words in my last talky back to other people box thingy! ??? <dontknow> Thx Jon
Ur witty snobbery shall be enjoyed as long as no words like imbecilic, moronic, ignorant, or short-bus riding poopyheaded goober(you know, or something like that) are not used! <lmao> Thanks for the welcome <thumbsup>
I just unloaded(no pun intended, ok maybe a lil pun) my M&P MOE and am in the market for a .308. I am wanting something with an 18" or maybe a 20" barrel w/ a price around $1700. I've been looking at two in particular: DPMS Mark 12 and the RRA Standard Operator. So, in comparing dependability, accuracy, ease of interchangeable parts, etc. which would be a better choice? These aren't my final choices but any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been shooting pistols since I was 12 but have just gotten into rifles(other than bolt guns) over the past couple years. Just got rid of my AR-15 and am in the hunt for a .308. I have been browsing your site for a few days and I am impressed. It's very nice to find a forum with people who not only know their weapons but aren't gun snobs! Which is good because I have been known to ask a stupid question or 12 :P
