Hello, I'm just recently broke my AR-10 cherry by purchasing a LMT MWS with a 16". The salesman assured me that the 16" barrel can be used beyond 600 yards. I have some experience with the .308 round, but my experience with .308 was with gau-17 and m240 from the side of an UH-1N. I looked at the AR-15 platform, but I like the long range possibilities of the .308. I'm going need a lot advice on optics, round selection, and reload information. GF
