  1. You're right, I'll give it a shot. Hell they can't arrest me for something I haven't done yet.
  2. Oh I don't mind talking to them if thats what I must do. I just don't what them thinking I'm a nut case for asking a lot of strange questions.
  3. I meant the ACR or SCAR as a pistol/SBR. I have a AR pistol myself thats why I was looking at the pistol upper they had displayed. I was just confused on him saying the SCAR/ACR was a pistol when I thought it would be considered a SBR due to it only having a 16" barrel and its overall lenght when folded is shorter then what the law says? And here in Michigan I didn't think we were allowed to own SBR.
  4. You are probably right Matt.Cross, but I feel better staying out of their sights as much as possible.
  5. I guess in some states you can build your own suppressor, but I was wondering if anyone knew if Michigan residents can build one after they get a tax stamp to get one? I would ask the BATF but I've already asked to many question from them and don't need to draw too much attention to myself.
  6. I was wonder if anyone has ran into this or if it is even a problem. While eyeballing some toys at a gun store I was looking at a used pistol AR-15 upper, the clerk had told me that the guy traded it in and bought a ACR or SCAR( forgot already) to replace the AR as his vehicle pistol. I told him it would be a SBR and he said it would be considered a pistol due to the length of the barrel. So which is it, because if it is considerd a pistol I'll be buying one. <dontknow>
  7. Well thank you all for replying, I was hoping that was what everybody would say. I really don't want to be hauling a boat anchor out into the woods if I didn' have too, but would for the accuracy. Thanks again. <thumbsup> Just ordered the 18.5" barrel.
  8. Does anyone here have any experience with the 18.5", .308 AR, Medium Weight, 1x10, Stainless, Match Quality, FA by Criterion or the 20", .308 AR, M110, 1x12, Stainless, Threaded, Match Quality, FA by Criterion? I've been looking at these two barrels for awhile and can not decide. I'm building a rifle for mainly hunting but can not find if the M110 barrel is more accurate then the medium weight barrel, I'll deal with the extra weight if the M110 barrel is better then the lighter medium weight barrel.
