Thanks guys, I'm still kinda torn between DPMS or Armalite setups. Still researching the options, might be on hold on the whole thing due to lack of parts from so many distributors. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to comment.

New to site, but had some ??? On a .243 at build... I understand that I have to use a .308 at upper and lower, but other than the barrel what parts at .243 specific? Armalite or DPMS platform? This will be my first .308 AR platform gun and would like to build it myself.
