Thanks everyone! There's at least one out there - a guy in SoCal has one. And there's someone here in Fresno selling an 8" barrel. I have been thinking 10" is probably a little better. All those FAL .308 pistols started me in this direction. I'll start a thread and pictures as soon as the 80% lower shows up.

Greetings. Not really sure how I wound up here, but think I'll stay for a while. Just purchased an 80% .308 lower, looking forward to building it up. For some reason I have this crazy desire to build a .308 AR pistol. Must be the fact that stuff like this is "evil" here in Californistan. :). Anyway, looking forward to learning from the experts. I take advice well, or at least I pretend too. :)
