  1. Working on answering all pm's. very busy week working an industry trade show. Cheers, Johann
  2. I think you guys jinxed me by saying the rifle would sell quickly. ;) No takers? May take it down to the local gun shop for trade or consignment. Cheers, Johann

  7. Where in AZ? I have family in AZ and I earned my M.S. from Univ of AZ in Tucson. Bear Down!
  8. Jgun, I'm going with DPMS. The entire rife is DPMS parts with the exception of the buttstock, grip, and sights. Cheers, Johann
  9. Thanks everyone. I've decided to build my own rifle. Pics and info to follow. I was about the buy a complete rifle when I did a little more research. I can build a rifle to my specifications for slightly more than a stock complete rifle. All parts and tools are inbound. Plus, I've built 2 AR-15s in the past. I have also converted 2 Saigas (7.62x39 and .308). Although I no longer own any of those rifles, one thing is clear: I enjoy building/converting rifles. Cheers, Johann
  10. Thanks. Waiting on my lower, gas block, receiver block, and multi-wrench. Then the building can commence.
  11. I'm building a 308 AR using the DPMS 18" SASS barrel. The 308 Miculek Compensator (http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=1641) I bought seems to line up nicely without the jam (or locking) nut. Okay to install this way? Or, is the jam nut necessary. Also, I'm right handed, is clocking this comp necessary, or can I simply align the ports at 3 and 9 o'clock. Thanks, Johann
  12. Hello Everyone! New member, first post. I'm looking to buy a .308 AR and have my sights set on two models: Mk3 18" Stainless Steel .308 Rifle http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/item/Mk3-18-Stainless-Steel-308-Rifle-1807 OR Bushmaster® MOE 308 Mid-Length http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_60/products_id/77836/Bushmaster+XM10+3F+MOE+Mid-Length+Carbine+308+Win+20%2B1 Both are attractive and have features that I like. I can buy either rifle for just about $1,200 OTD, which is my budget. I'm leaning toward the Bushmaster. I'm open to comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Johann
