  1. nice, my stock should be here this weekend, then i can finally start breaking in this rifle.
  2. Awesome, exactly what i was wondering, thanks for the info.
  3. I did a search and this stock was mentioned a couple times, but never specifically answered. I want to put the UBR stock on my DPMS AP4, is the buffer tube it comes with compatible with the .308 system, or do i need another. Will the buffer tube that came eith the rifle suffice? anyone ever use this stock on a simliar rifle? thanks a bunch guys, pics coming soon, i know it dosent happen without them.
  4. Another question, i am looking at the UBR stock for my DPMS, i searched on here and couldnt find the answer, do i have to do anything besides use the .308 carbine buffer, will the Buffer tube that comes with the UBR be long enough to work with the stock spring? thanks in advance guys (and maybe gals)
  5. Good to know! glad i havent just bought a lemon. now to schedule some range time..
  6. Hey everyone, this will serve as an intro, as well as my first question, i picked up a DPMS 16" .308 the other day, and i am kind of concerned about something. I was in the Army for 5 years, and am used to the 5.56, and ive read some of this forum and this seems to be common... so here it goes... is it supposed to be this tight? it was HARD to charge it.... and im not a weakinling. Havent fired it yet, and i figured that with the bigger parts it tends to mess up when babied, but is it normal for a new rifle to be this tight.. its a fairly low serial number, i got it on consignment and was told by the store and the owner that it was a safe queen, and it looks it, not a mark on it, all spotless, including the interior and BCG. so, let the flaming begin, am does it just need to be broken in? or what?
