So I have a Lr-.308 dpms w/ a 16" rainer arms barrel . I was wondering if any barrel nut would work with any free float. Im leaning towards a troy quad rail. any help would be awesome.

Is there any advantage to free float vs the other options. It seems like the picatinny block does not line up with the top rail on most forearms.

Thanks I'll be going with a Rainer arms 16" Do the low pro blocks fit under a free float. Or is the Pica tinny one better. So many little things driving me nuts hope I can finish

So I tried just asking questions here and there but now I'm just gonna say Im building a DPMS LR.308. I already got my barrel questions answered now I need help with gas tube and block. How long should my gas tube be on a 16" barrel? What are some good gas blocks? Thanks for your help

Hey guys, Does any one know where I can buy a 16" barrel with a thread end. Every one is out and backoedered for 6 months. Ben

What about linnings . do some wear down more then others. People seem to like chrome because of clean up any other benifits?

Its the rookie again, thanks for you help on my last question Anyways I decided on an 18 " barrel but now whats a good twist rate and a good linning?

Im new to this site and starting my first build. I'm building this gun for deer hunting mainly maybe some elk. I'm stuck on what size barrel to get. Is the extra 2 inches worth the weight? Just looking for some help.
