Picked up my 716 yesterday and just put 80 rounds through it today. Hitting one inch groups at 25 yards using the fixed sites and both 149 grain 7.62 and 168 grain .308 ammo. No FTFS, FTES or issues with the bolt locking to the rear on an empty mag. Couldn't be happier! I put a PWS muzzle brake on it before firing it for the first time, so I can't say for certain what effect that had on the recoil, but the recoil wasn't bad. Now for some optics and a trigger mod and I should be good to go!

Thanks for the input! I think I'll go with the BDC as soon as they're available.

I'm looking at adding a Nikon M-308 to my Sig 716 and would be interested in your thoughts on the BDC or Nikoplex recticle. TIA!
