Recently purchased a DPMS LR-308 intending to get back into some long distance shooting to 600 - 1000 yds. Would appreciate any advice on where I could go in Oregon to reach those distances. Shooting ranges? Public lands (desert)? I know the Powder River Sportsmans Club in Baker, OR has 1000 yd rifle range...anyone know of anything in the central Oregon area? Or even Western Oregon? Thanks for the help.
