The only thing I can think of is that they are talking about having a solid end piece instead of having it drilled out kinda like a weighted BCG but ya no idea what they mean just glad I'm not the only one who is puzzled by this

See that's the problem I have no idea what they mean by it but ya I'm tempted to just do it and see if it doesn't work on this build that just means I already started the next one haha

No problem just wasn't sure one the rules for this forum... So I'm looking at the JP silent capture spring/buffer I have a full mass black rain ordnance NB BCG. I've looked into hydraulic buffers and they are going to be plan b if this wont work. JP says their jpscs 10 was designed to work in conjunction with their lmos bcg but now has a spring pack so that it can be used on other BCGs and configurations. The problem is they also state that it will not work on a solid BCG.

So I have come to the point of deciding on a buffer and have way too many options. Without trying to name the brand the one I am looking at requires a non "solid" buffer. I've tried to research what this means however can't find any info on the matter. I assume the reason is because the buffer and spring are one unit and have a guide rod which needs to pass thru the bcg when cycling however I am way too uneducated in the subject and at this point unwilling to spend the money on a guess.... Basicslly what the heck is a solid bcg haha. Any opinions, answers, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys in advance.

i havent looked into fulton but ive searched SI Defense everywhere and havent been able to locate anything on them outside of forums. ill check into NEMO and i scan all the major dealers religously thank you guys

Where might one find a bcg beside black rain ordnance and the standard DPMS I've looked into the Jp lmos however I prefer a full mass bcg any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful

grettings from california, i recently started my new 308 ar build. Just started the 10 day hold on my Black Rain Ordnance .308 upper/lower in black and a DPMS LPK with 4 lbs single stage Timney Trigger on order. planning on a 20" Black Hole Weaponry poly barrel, either an A2 or Magpul PRS stock, Troy MRF 15" free float, and a Leupold Mark 4 ER/T FFP, was gonna go with the LMOS JP Enterprises BCG but Im leaning towards the additional mass of the BRO BCG nickel boron instead, so now that i made the list of what i wanted my roommates baled on me and my girl they took the frig, washer and dryer, kitchen table, tv, and couch my girls making me buy all new ones which is going delay my build so like a good man i put her needs aside and ordered my barrel a few minutes ago.... does that make me a bad person? haha ps will post pics as the parts arrive and are installed
