  1. Just back from the range and rifle performed great, not one single misfeed or jam. Thanks everyone for the advice. Now I have to get my rifle cleaned up and oiled up again to go hog hunting tomorrow.
  2. Edgecrusher, Thank you for the advice. I only had a small bottle of oil and now I am out of oil, will buy more tomorrow. I can already feel that the bolt is easier to move back, not much easier but it working. I work for a very gun friendly company so I will continue to work on it tomorrow at work.
  3. Unforgiven I am using PPU 165 grain,I am sure it is not the best but it is definitely not the worst either. It seems everyone is saying go real heavy with the oil and that is what I am going to do. Oh and yes, this is the first semi-automatic rifle I have ever owned.I have shot a M16-A1 and M16-A2 many times while I was in the Army but I never had to fix any problems with any rifle I used, they were pretty much just clean them properly and they shot perfect every time.
  4. Sorry, should have specified,it is a .308. The problem is with feeding the second bullet into the chamber after firing first bullet,I would say that is not double feeding. What is the magazine followers? Excuse me if this is a dumbass question but I really do not know what that is.
  5. I only have a thin layer of oil on the bolt.I am going to oil it up and move the bolt back and forth. Thank you
  6. I am having a problem with jamming on a new RRA Predator.I am using 2 RRA magazines and I am getting the same results with both mags. When I release the bolt forward the bullet loads correctly but second bullet jams every time. I am very aggravated and I have no idea what to do. While I am asking questions,I have one more. The butt on this rifle is metal and it does not feel good at all,is there a pad that I can buy that will slip on ?
  7. My Predator here http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=402 . A washer under the bracket that fits on the the sling swivel might do the trick to get the Versa-Pod bipod to work on my rifle. Thanks <thumbsup>
  8. The place where I bought the Versa-Pod bipod would not take it back even though I had receipt and it was back in the original package. Never will set foot in that place again.
  9. The Atlas seems to require a rail, correct me if I am wrong. Also on the site it says that they do not have bipods for sale at this time. I think I would prefer the Harris with the notches.
  10. Is this the one to get http://www.midwayusa.com/product/155546/harris-s-brm-bipod-leg-notch-sling-swivel-stud-mount-6-to-9-black?cm_vc=sugv1872664 I just want to be sure I am getting to correct one.
  11. Thanks for the advice and the welcom. Would I be able to shoot sitting with the 9 to 13?
  12. I am looking for a bipod to put on my RRA Predator and I since I do not have a rail I have to attach the bipod on the sling swivel. I have read many suggestions like GG&G or Bobro but these seem to require a rail on the rifle to install the bipod and I do not want to put one on my rifle. Is my best option a Harris? I purchased a Versa-Pod bipod today and will be returning it tomorrow, the bipod might work on some rifles but it is lose the Predator. I am wanting a bipod for shooting at the range and hog hunting. I can spend as much as it takes to get something good.
