Hmm... Well I'll have to do some closet gun smithing. I'm also looking to shed some weight. It seems all the weight is coming from the barrel nut at the rear of the hand guard. Is there any way to slim the girl up?

Thanks fellas for the warm welcome! Sorry Robocop I said gapper and meant Accu wedge. There is like no room for it in there. I was thinking why the bolt won't stay open. Is because out has a rifle buffer in it. It has the original Magpul PRS stock

Hello all I've recently purchased a DPMS LR308 SASS made back in 06. I've noticed the upper moves from side to side as well as up and down on the rear takedown pin. Has anyone else experienced this? I bought a gapper for it like on my AR15. But there is no way it will fit in there. Also the bolt doesn't lock open after the last round? Any and all input is greatly appreciated and welcomed!
