First AR is on the way to FFL. Decided with the political environment that the time could be approaching for a "now or never" purchase so I bit the bullet (no pun intended) and purchased a DPMS 308 Recon. Looking forward to the tedious break-in procedure as outlined in the manual :-) Any comments regarding my new Recon welcome especially if it has the ability to use 7.62 ammo. I have friend that will give me some Federal Match Grade 7.62 (175) for me to use until I can find some .308. I've read tons of threads and it seems to come to headspace but I haven't seen anyone with this particular rifle. But finding that appears to be a challenge upon itself :-( Thanks and look forward to learning a lot out here.
