Hello everyone, I apologize for my ignorance ahead of time as I'm a new owner of a DPMS LR-308.
I love my new rifle, and have been becoming very familiar with it. I'm interested in getting a new handguard for it. It has an 18 inch barrel, and I have a low profile gas block on the way. Problem is I can't seem to find any 16 inch handguards that I like. Out of all my searching, I've only found about 2 or 3.
I don't necessarily want a quad rail, because I think that's a little bit of overkill, and I'm not going to use all of the rails.

I want a 16 inch because I have an adjustable foregrip that I'd like to place right in the front at an angled position, and then have room towards the front of the barrel for a bipod.
I know that magpul handguards will fit on it just fine, actually had one on there and returned it, as I wanted more length. Would any AR-15 free floating handguard fit the DPMS-LR-308?
