Not a record but 469 days of waiting for the Standard Op. Does anyone on this forum have a suggestion for rear sights. RRA A2, Magpul and MBUS seem to have good reviews. Patience to those still waiting.

Still waiting for my special op @ 395 days. Contacted RRA last week, they gave the excuse they were waiting on the barrels. Is there only one barrel manufacturer in the US? To those young entrepeneurs out there, this might be a great business to get into. One saving grace for the ridiculous delay is most of the accouterments have been assembled, in part to the suggestions provided on this forum. Thanks guys.

What a predicament. 280 days to go, and the possibility my standard op will be outlawed by the criminals in DC before it ever arrives. Any suggestions as a second choice?

1) What model? LAR-8 standard operator 2) What dealer? davidsonsfirearms.com 3) When did you order? Dec 21,2012 4) When did you receive it? Still waiting. The dealer spoke w/ RR last week, the excuse was they were waiting on part for rifle assemblys.
