Picked up an LAR-8 on advise from my LGS owner. They said they felt that it was the "best of the bunch". The other options were S&W MP10, and a Bushmaster 308. Have not shot it yet as we are busy but hope to get to the range on Saturday. Like I said, new to the 308 AR, have some in 223 and like them. The 223's are Bushmaster Varmit, one stainless one crome lined, and an M4 carbine for shoot um up fun. The RRA is their "elite operator".

Hi, have owned an M1A for awhile and decided to get a RRA as I am more comfortable with the AR platform. Thought I would join in to learn about the 308 from those who have had them awhile. CHEERS
