Hmm the dpms kit I bought came with a spacer might have to try that out and see what happens.

So you did a a2 conversion? And it cycles properly? A few different people I saw online had issues with the rifles after they did the conversion

I think I'm just going to sell this thing and start over with an armalite or dpms. Seems to be the better/easier way to go.

It's a Cali thing. If I put the am I mag release I'd have to have 2 bullet buttons. And it wouldn't function properly. On a side note I saw a video on YouTube where a guy put the magpul prs stock on the m&p-10. He used the rifle length buffer assembly from a dpms. Mounted up fine but has problems cycling. Which is awesome because I just ordered those two parts. So anyone got any other ideas for a buffer setup?

I lost the ambi mag release. But still have the bolt release.

Yup it was more of a 17 day wait when it was all said and done. Was hoping to have all the pieces but didn't happen.

Giving a shout out from California. Just picked up a smith and wesson m&p-10 on Thursday (10 day wait periods suck). So ill be browsing around here looking for some goodies to put on it. Already have a nikon m-308 scope for it, trying to get some info on a quad rail type hand guard preferably free floating. Any suggestions?
