This is it and yes it's a slickside upper. A friend bought a DPMS LR308 and now wants to add the shell deflector. He bought the deflector from DPMS but we can't seem to figure out how it attaches to the upper. From what I'm reading, the deflector has to bought with a gun that has that option on it from the factory. His has the 24" stainless bull barrel on it and I believe its an A2 upper? Thanks,
