I'm looking to buy a .308 ar. I'm going to buy a factory rifle and I'm wondering who makes the most accurate rifle right out of the box? I know everyone has their favorites and I'm interested to hear what the general consensus is. I've read about most of the major players like DPMS, LWRC, S&W, etc. etc. and can't seem to find out who's the most accurate with what ammo. I'm not looking to spend a ton on a custom, just something I can get over the counter at my local shop. Thanks for any/all input from the forum. Jim

I saw a recent episode of Gun's & Ammo on TV and they were interviewing the owner of Stag Arms. They asked if Stag was going to make an AR in .308. Stag's response was they have one in R&D and would release it soon. I'm hoping this true. Anyone heard anything about this? Thanks -------------------

Newbie here, not sure if I'm in the right place. I'm wondering if any manufacturer makes a leftie AR10 in .308. I've heard Stag is considering one but that seems to be just chatter. I know DPMS makes an AR15 in leftie but can't find if they make one in .308. Does anyone know if any arms company even makes one? Does this rifle even exist?
