Please forgive the FNG if this has been addressed, but I could not find a related post.
I recently bought a GenII DPMS AP4. Because I bought what I could afford, I finally had the money to “dress it up”. I bought a Sampson Evolution 15” rail for it. To mount on the rail I bought a SightMark 8.5-25X50 scope. When mounting the scope with the included rings, the 50mm lens touches the top of the rail. Is there a way to shim the scope mount that will raise the front of the scope enough to get a lens cover on?
