I'm installing a low profile gas block on a 18" mid-length gas system on ranier arms LR 308 barrel, it's my first build and not that familiar with this area yet. The barrel has 1 dimple on the bottom part right under the gas port. Would a low pro gas block with 2 set screws work on this barrel? I'm not sure what the dimple is for. Thanks in advance

Does anybody know if a 18" .308 polygonal 1:11 twist stabilize heavier grain projectiles? 150 grain and up.
