  1. I have one weapon light for the ar that's not on there at the moment. I need to get a couple, but I keep a seperate flashlight next to the 45 on the night stand. I like having the option of positioning the light source away from my center mass if I should ever have a situation.
  2. Some day I will be there. That's a bad ass picture btw iron
  3. Haha. The shotty knows she's adopted but she fits in well. Collection is still growing. Not bad considering I just got into firearms a little over 2 years ago. I should add the purple lc9 isn't mine....it's my fiancées. But I'm the one who bought it....and cleans it so I consider it mine most of the time lol.
  4. Working on it. But the wife has a headache
  5. Since there was a new addition in the last week I had to take an updated family picture =). My beautiful family is growing nicely.
  6. I'm in love with this gun. The thing is bad ass. I'm surprised that it went together so well. It's my first 308 and first build and reading everything getting into it I thought it would be more difficult. I do owe a thank you to everyone here who answered my noob questions and gave me advice though!
  7. That would be the lighting. It's black
  8. I've shot her twice last night...she runs smoothly and perfectly from what I can tell. Guru, that took worked perfectly, I can't thank you enough!
  9. Rough pic...I'll post a better one tomorrow.
  10. Yea I'm not too worried about it. We will see what happens I'm sure it will function fine. If not I will handle it down the road. On a side note, this rifle will be completed by next weekend, pending I get all the parts delivered by then. My gas block and tube didn't come with the roll pin to pin the tube to the block so I spent half the day driving around town looking for one. Found a think on the internet saying 5/64 worked. Found it and tried it couldn't get it to go in. So I used my Dremel to taper 1/3 of the pin and got it to go in, then cut the extra off. Things solid now!
  11. I know the disconnecter spring is in the right place, in the trigger. Only time dry fired I put a towel behind the hammer so it didn't just smack. The only issue is its rubbing on the hammer. I put some lube on it and it got a little better. That's why I'm thinking it will loosen in time. If the hammer is cocked back in then everything works fine.
  12. Yea I might. I think I'm gonna wait a few first though. It loosened up a bit from when I first put it in there. I'm gonna see if it will loosen with use. If I remember right the td pins were super tight on my ar15 when it was new too.
  13. Started assembling the beast (that's what I'm calling it, since it's my first 308 and everything is so big compared to my ar15). Rifle will (should be at least, missing a roll pin for the gas block, which didn't come with one, so I have to track one of those down) complete minus scope next weekend. Waiting on the hand gaurd, stock, brake, and charging handle to come. Need a dust cover but waiting to find one I like. I'm getting excited. Only issues I have/had is the front take down pin is hard as hell to push in and out, have to tap it with a hammer and punch...I'm sure it will loosen a bit with time, and the bolt catch isn't springy when the hammer is decocked, which again I am sure is because everything is new. Anyways here's what I got so far.
  14. Well yea. Obviously caliber I knew. I didn't know if with some 308 barrels of there were different diameters at the muzzle or not. Thank you!
