    I measured and the difference from the gas block to the rail is .310. I want to use a carry handle for my rear sight. Anybody know what the high will be with a carry handle? I was thinking of using a low profile front with a block riser under it. I found 1/2 inch risers to put on the gas block if I need to. Any ideas about that type of set up?

    Is there any way to put iron sights on it. Or am I going to need to buy a different rifle to get iron sights.

    Thank you I will check on them. It gave the height difference so I'm going to measure.

    I just looked at those sights. I don't think they will work. The gas block is lower than the top rail.

    They will be the only sights I use. I don't care for scopes. I was told I could only get a flip style sight for the front.

    Hello I just purchased my DPMS LR-308 model RFLR-308-F.I want to put iron sights on it. I know DPMS sells the carry handle,but no front sight. This is my first civilian AR. So any help is greatly appreciated.
