  1. That's what I finally decided to do after trying it both ways and marking the bolt in the forward position through the ejection port both ways with no difference in bolt position noted. It just seemed the right way. Haven't shot it since removing and installing the bolt. I'll post after the next trip to the range. By the way, I can tell after the first trip to the range, this gun is a shooter.
  2. This is a link to a picture of it. https://armalite.com/files/2015/02/10406000-199x286.jpg
  3. I have a AR 10 defender and after cleaning, I discovered that the cam pin (EA1015) could be installed with the rounded side in either the forward or rear position. I don't know which position was forward. Does anyone know if it really matters? The manual shows the cam pin with all four sides the same, however my cam pin has one rounded side.
  4. Well, I finally found some info on it. http://www.fullarmorfirearms.com/houston/guns/RIFLES/8795/ARMALITE-SPR-MOD-2A It's called the Defender http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=486518129
  5. That's almost it. Except mine has a 16 inch non stainless steel barrel with a flash hider and the barrel is marked 7.62 NATO CR-MO CL 1:11.25 , it also has a collapsable stock and a 20 rd. PMAG Magazine, rail, 2 stage trigger and I believe its a version of the AR 10A as it uses the PMAG magazine.
  6. I am new to this forum andI just purchased a new Armalite AR10 with the markings SPR MOD 2A on the lower. I have tried to research this marking without any success. Thanks in advance for any information you might be able to contribute.
