ThankThanks Robocop, I am looking for something priced in the middle of the road but shoots like something better. I have only built one other rifle, a AR in 5.56 but have only been able to shoot it at 50 yards. 100 years ago while in the Marines I got to qualify 4 times and was 40 of 40 at 500 meters, so although I may not be able to shoot a rifle that well now, thats the kind of accuracy I would like to have.

Thanks Shepp must have copied the incorrect link. I understand they have a 308/7.62 16inch for $ 125. Sounds very low??

Thank you gentlemen! ! Appreciate the advice, now I am feeling confident on Aero precision, and I am also considering a shorter barrell. Got to wait till Aero has parts back in stock. I did get a couple of Magpul magazines in that were on sale from Midway. This build will take some time to complete as I plan on finding parts during sales. I will have many more questions, input and opinions are appreciated.

Good evening! Just signed up, because I am in the planning stages of a build. I am looking at Aero for the upper and lower, is this a good base for a build? Thinking 20 inch barrel for target and possibly hog hunting. Thoughts?
