  1. I'm having a L129A1-ish rifle built up by a local shop, and am looking for recommendations on a set of rings - preferably QD type. I'm also assembling a Mk.12 Mod 0 or Mod 1 and see that A.R.M.S. rings were/are standard for that rifle. Any thoughts?
  2. I've a couple builds in the works (one 308 and another 556) and I'd like recommendations for a set of folding BUIS. I'm interested a set which the rear is adjustable for windage and elevation. Suggestions? Thanks!
  3. I've settled on the SOPMOD type adjustable buttstock. Not sure about triggers, as I'm not familiar with what's on the market or the pluses and minuses. I'd like a free floating forend, with a quad rail system (L129A1-ish), but it seems that's a bit problematic. Apart from a set of BUIS sights and perhaps a bipod, I'm not going to be hanging the kitchen sink off of the forend. I've been trying to find the L129A1 flashider, but without any luck. The L129 uses a quad fork, and most on the market are three.
  4. Saukville No coho fishing yet ... no time or disposable income after rifles ... I suppose it could be worse, it could be Newburg ...
  5. Hello, I'm starting up a 308 build, and welcome thoughts around components. So far I've settled on the following: 18" Criterion Barrel Midwest Industries Upper and Lower Apart from that, I'm open. I don't want to sink a fortune into it, but also want to ensure that I'm satisfied. So, to me that means better than average, but not Cadillac. While the most use will come on a target range (not much more than a few hundred yards), I would likely take it out deer and coyote hunting. I'd also like to have it set up "in the spirit" of an M110 or L129. Thoughts on buttstocks, triggers, rails and sights? Thanks, "Nailcreek"
  6. Thanks, guys ... I'm located in the slums of Port Washington .....
