Hello all,
I am just starting out in the AR 308 world. I bought an already built up, used Aero Precision M5 a few weeks ago and of course that led me to think I should do one myself. Goodbye Kansas.
Anyhow, this weekend's conundrum has been replacing the the commercial size buffer tube on my DPMS 308 Oracle with a Mil-Spec tube. No tubes to be had in town, save for an Aero Precision M5 Tube/Spring/Buffer set for 80 bucks. I bought it, installed it. Viola!
The problem
Now, the bolt comes forward with more ferocity than I imagine is good. Considerably more than my Aero. Any thoughts?
